Medan, the capital of North Sumatra Province, is the main distribution center of Sumatra coffee, and another distribution center is BANDAR LAMPUNG, a port city in southeastern Sumatra. Although the journey to Toba Lake is only over 200 kilometers, it takes 5-6 hours to drive from Medan due to the lack of highways. Shidi Garland, Dole Upper Valley and Lindong are all in the neighboring areas. It takes 6-7 hours to drive to Gayu production area in Aceh Province, more than 300 kilometers away from Banda Aceh, capital of Aceh Province; it takes more than 10 hours to drive to Medan, which is more than 400 kilometers away.
