Taiwan's boutique coffee beans Chiayi County won 13 awards

In 1985, the evaluation of Taiwan's high-quality coffee beans was held in Nantou a few days ago. Chiayi County won a total of 13 awards among the 20 winners of the standard washing group and other treatment groups, which can be said to be the biggest winner.

The Chiayi County government said today that the evaluation competition for Taiwan's domestic boutique coffee beans is subsidized by the Agriculture and Food Administration of the Agricultural Committee of the Executive Yuan and handled by counties and cities in turn. It will be held in Nantou County this year, hoping to guide domestic coffee farmers to establish the concept of quality classification.

The county government pointed out that the competition was divided into two groups: the standard washing group and other treatment groups. There were 161 pieces of coffee participating in the competition across the country, and each group selected one special prize, two first prize, three gold prize and four silver prize.

Among the 10 awards in the standard washing group, Chiayi County won the special prize, 2 first prize, 2 gold prize and 2 silver prize (7 awards); among the 10 awards of other treatment groups, Chiayi County also won the special prize, 1 first prize, 2 gold prize and 2 silver award (6 awards), becoming the biggest winner.

The county government pointed out that the climate in Ali Mountain area of Chiayi County is cloudy and cloudy, and the temperature difference between day and night is great, which is suitable for coffee planting and growth, and the coffee produced is of good quality. In addition, the roaster carefully selects and bakes the rice, which is of excellent quality and can be returned to sweet fruit after drinking. Therefore, excellent results can be obtained.
