The Tainan municipal government pointed out that it was reported this morning that at 18 kilometers of Route 175 from Dongyuan to Bilian Temple in Dongshan District, the road collapsed and was impassable; after the relevant units arrived at the scene to conduct a survey, a blockade line had been set up.

After preliminary observation, the relevant units found that the site of the collapse was located above the stream and belonged to the road section where the roadbed was easily lost; the works Bureau had first used high-strength concrete to carry out irrigation operations to block Rain Water from infiltrating into the hollowed-out roadbed and reduce the pore water pressure of the soil. to prevent the disaster from spreading.

The city government pointed out that the repair work will have to wait until the weather clears up, and the construction period is about two to three days before it can be reopened to traffic.
