Starbucks to open a new coffee shop in Shanghai, China, the largest in the world
Recently, it has been learned that Starbucks will open new coffee shops integrated with coffee roasters in Shanghai, China, Tokyo, Japan and New York, USA. At present, there is only one such store, which is located in Seattle, USA.
According to Japan's Asahi Shimbun, Starbucks plans to open a second such store in Shanghai next year, while it will open a third and fourth such coffee shop in New York and Tokyo in 2018. The shop is named "Starbucks Reserve Roastery" (commonly known as "Buck Zhenxuan Coffee Roaster" in Chinese), and customers can see the roasting process of coffee beans up close while enjoying the coffee.

It also means that about 500 new stores will be opened in each of the next five years. At the same time, Wang Jingying will also be in charge of the "bakery" that Starbucks opened in Shanghai in 2017.
As early as May 26, Starbucks announced the construction of a "bakery" in Shanghai. It is reported that the new coffee roaster will have a total floor area of 2700 square meters, surpassing the New York store announced in April this year to become the largest Starbucks cafe in the world.
