The export of Pu'er coffee beans hit a record high in the first half of the year.

Since last year, the Pu'er entry-exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has further strengthened its daily supervision in the light of the international market and the quality of coffee bean exports in the past, bringing all coffee export enterprises into the scope of supervision, and inspection and quarantine cadres go to enterprises regularly to help enterprises establish a quality management system. From planting, management, picking, processing, warehousing to packaging are operated in strict accordance with the relevant control system, timely rectification when problems are found, so as to ensure the quality of coffee products. The Pu'er entry-exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau also makes full use of its own advantages to actively provide relevant trade information to various coffee enterprises, so as to further integrate product trade with the international market and avoid risks to the maximum. For example, inspection and quarantine introduces to export coffee enterprises the progress made in joining the International Fair Trade Organization. A coffee exporter in Pu'er City has obtained a fair trade certificate issued by the International Fair Trade Organization. This is the first coffee company in China to pass the fair trade certification. After passing the inspection of Pu'er entry-exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, the enterprise issued a relevant certificate for export to the European Union (Belgium). In addition to the transaction stipulated in the contract, according to the fair trade protection price, the export enterprise received a refund of 55000 yuan.

By the end of June, Pu'er City in Yunnan Province had strengthened its daily supervision, actively expanded trading channels, and promoted by the Coffee Trading Center. The coffee beans exported by Pu'er entry-exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau reached 22313.72 tons, an increase of 4667.62 tons over the same period last year and a year-on-year increase of 26.5%, setting another record high for exports.
