2013 Taichung Coffee pull Creative Competition
Today, the Economic Development Bureau held the "2013 Taichung Coffee Creative Competition" in the municipal building of Taiwan Avenue, attracting 60 good coffee players from all over Taiwan to participate. The competition is divided into the preliminary competition and the final, and the competition system is divided into the professional group and the general group. Each selected the top three. The winner of the professional category is Zhong Chih-ting's "Pavilion in the Heart of the Lake," while the general winner is Tang Yucun's "everlasting Love." Mayor Hu Zhiqiang personally presented awards and encouragement, hoping to create a more romantic coffee culture in Taichung City.
The preliminary round will be held on the morning of the event. The contestants will decide the outcome with a cup of lattes, and the judges will judge them according to the difficulty and creativity of the graphics. The contestants have only a 1/3 chance of getting tickets to the finals. 20 contestants will be selected from the general and professional groups to enter the finals. The final will be held in the afternoon, and the judges will each select the top three contestants from the general group and the professional group, and the award will be presented by Taichung Mayor Hu Zhiqiang himself.
This competition not only tests the contestants' flower-drawing skills and the good taste of coffee, but also creates a latte with a Taichung image to challenge the contestants' innovative ability, so it is quite difficult.
After a day of fierce competition, Zhong Zhiting won the professional group with a latte created by "the Pavilion in the Center of the Lake". He used the Taichung landmark Pavilion in the middle of the lake as an image to express the scene of swans visiting the lake, and the original picture idea was praised. Wu Zelin and Xu Lingwen won the second and third places respectively. The general group champion was won by Tang Yucun, who won the championship with "Yongyu Love". Combined with the coffee atmosphere of Taichung's happy city, it was composed of swans and love, giving coffee life and happiness. Lin Zixuan and Zhang Menghan won the second and third places respectively.
Mayor Hu said that drinking coffee can relax people. Taichung coffee should be promoted to be "loyal to the original flavor," which is a blend of taste, aroma, and sour taste. Experts should drink the sour taste of coffee, drink the taste of coffee beans, and smell the aroma of coffee.
The Economic Development Bureau said that the purpose of holding the flower-pulling competition is to introduce coffee with the image of Taichung City to the public, and it is also hoped that through the contestants to learn from each other and encourage creative ideas, coffee-pull flowers can also be combined with the visual elements of Taichung, so that the whole city of Taichung revolves around the humanistic flavor of coffee, and through various activities of coffee, it creates a sense of happiness that belongs to Taichung city, and brings some romance to the busy life.
