European coffee bean stocks rose 0.7% in December for two months in a row.
According to a report released by the European Coffee Union (European Coffee Federation) on Tuesday, European coffee bean stocks increased by 4996 metric tons, or 0.7 percent, for the second consecutive month, driven by an increase of 5372 tons to 135772 tons in Hamburg, the world's second largest coffee port, but the first largest coffee port, Antwerp (Antwerp), decreased by 1957 tons to 291296 tons in December. The total inventory of the six largest coffee ports in the world is now 715266 metric tons.
