"2017 Malaysia International Tea and Coffee Expo" held in Kuala Lumpur

Xinhua Kuala Lumpur, March 17 (Wang Dawei) by the Malaysia Tea Chamber of Commerce, Malaysia Pu'er Tea Chamber of Commerce and Kuala Lumpur Tea Art Association jointly sponsored the "2017 Malaysia International Tea and Coffee Expo" opened in Kuala Lumpur on the 17th.

The Expo attracted nearly 200 enterprises from eight countries and regions, including China, India, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia. Among them, 15 tea enterprises from China have become the focus of this Expo.

Xiao Jiawei, director of the Malaysia Tourism Board, said that the Malaysia International Tea and Coffee Expo is a world-class exposition, in which many world-famous enterprises have participated, and the Malaysia Tourism Board will also give its full support. He hoped that the exhibitors would seize the opportunity and make full use of the platform to enhance exchanges and cooperation and seek common development.

Liu Junguang, chairman of the Preparatory Committee for the Expo, said that tea and coffee are two important commodities in regional trade in Asia, and the Expo is jointly sponsored by the three major tea associations in Malaysia. He hopes that the participating enterprises will cooperate sincerely to promote tea culture around the world.

According to the organizers, during the Expo, the organizers will also host tea forums, charity auctions, tea-pulling performances, new product launches and other activities.
