Improvement of internationalization level of coffee industry in Pu'er city

Pu'er City actively promotes coffee export, promotes the internationalization level of coffee industry, and establishes a national coffee industry well-known brand demonstration zone. Last year, one coffee enterprise in Pu'er City passed the world fair trade certification, one enterprise passed the ecological origin protection assessment, and coffee was exported to 26 countries (regions). From January to February this year, Pu'er City exported a total of 35 batches of coffee beans, 2254.8 tons, worth 5.2771 million US dollars.

In order to improve the quality and international competitiveness of exported coffee, Pu'er entry-exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau brings all export coffee enterprises into the scope of daily supervision, regularly goes deep into the guidance of coffee enterprises, and helps enterprises to establish a quality management system, so that enterprises from coffee planting, management, picking, processing, warehousing to packaging and other links are in strict accordance with the relevant control system.

In order to reduce the export burden of enterprises, the inspection and quarantine departments shall be exempted from inspection and quarantine fees for export coffee. Actively cooperate with the customs to implement the "one-time declaration" model, the same batch of customs clearance goods only need to make a declaration on the "one-time declaration" system, they can be sent to the inspection and quarantine business platform and the customs business platform respectively. With the implementation of the paperless customs clearance mode, the customs clearance process can be completed by virtue of the customs order number generated by the CIQ2000 system, and the efficiency of customs clearance is significantly improved.

In December last year, the National Coffee testing key Laboratory in Pu'er City was completed and accepted. After various follow-up work, it is expected to be put into use by the end of this year. According to reports, the laboratory will be equipped with a series of advanced equipment, which can detect more than 180 items such as pesticide residues and heavy metals, and the detection ability will cover food senses, chemical pollutants, phytosanitary, and other disciplines and fields. it will fill the gap in the lack of coffee laboratories in China, provide strong technical support for the development of Pu'er coffee and Yunnan coffee industry, and improve the international voice.
