In February, Robusta exported 10, 4321 tons of coffee beans, with a total value of US $28.8 million.

"although the harvest has not yet begun, Lampung coffee continues to be exported to several countries," said Ferynia, director of the Lampung Bureau of Trade.

She said that according to information from Lampung Industrial and Trade Cooperatives, Lampung Robesda and Elaraby Arabika coffee beans have been exported to several countries in Europe and Asia.

Lampung's export destination countries are Algeria, Armenia, Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Egypt, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Morocco, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Romania, Iran, the United States and Sweden.

The coffee harvest in Lampung is expected to fall by about 20% to 30% this year because of the high rainfall last year.

"the main reason for the decline in coffee harvest is that the rainfall was so high last year that coffee beans were damaged." Said a coffee farmer in Lampung.

He said that the coffee harvest season in West Lampong is about July to August this year, and the harvest is expected to decline because of the high rainfall last year, which caused damage to coffee beans.

Nevertheless, he added, at present, the rainfall in Xinampong has decreased in the last month, so that it is hoped that coffee beans will grow better.

"it is hoped that there will be less rainfall from the beginning of this year to the near harvest than last year." That's what he said.

He said that at present, the coffee beans cultivated by farmers in Xinampong are as big as corn beans and hope to harvest in the next five or six months.

He explained that the coffee harvest in West Lampung last year was more than 2 tons, and it is expected to decrease by about 20% to 30% this year.

The price of farmer-grade coffee beans is about 25,000 rupiah per kilogram, while exports agree to 27,000 rupiah per kilogram.

Lampung is the largest supplier of Robesda coffee in China, with an annual output of about 100000 to 120000 tons, with a total coffee area of 160000 3837 hectares.
