Recently, the Shanghai Food and Drug Administration issued Shanghai Food and Drug Administration (Min) Administrative penalty decision No. 2320165834 [2016]. Shanghai Jingqing Coffee Co., Ltd. engaged in catering service without a license was warned by the Shanghai Minhang District Market Supervision Administration and fined 50000 yuan and confiscated illegal income of 6245 yuan.

According to the administrative penalty decision No. 2320165834 of the Shanghai Food and Drug Administration (Min) [2016], law enforcement officials of the Market Supervision Administration of Minhang District of Shanghai conducted an on-site inspection on 2 buildings at 220 Huqingping Road, Minhang District, Shanghai on July 22, 2016. The inspection found that the client Shanghai Jingqing Coffee Co., Ltd. operates a "Jazz Island Coffee" shop here and is engaged in relevant catering services. It has been found that the parties concerned have not obtained the relevant Food Business license. The above-mentioned acts of the parties are suspected of violating the provisions of paragraph 1 of Article 35 of the Food Safety Law of the people's Republic of China and constitute an illegal act of engaging in food business activities without permission.

In accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of Article 122 of the Food Safety Law of the people's Republic of China, Shanghai Minhang District Market Supervision and Administration Bureau issued a warning to Shanghai Jingqing Coffee Co., Ltd., fined 50000 yuan and confiscated 6245 yuan of illegal gains. The date of the decision on punishment is March 30, 2017.
