Taiwanese entrepreneur Lin Yihan and his "Coffee Dream"

Delicious coffee, elegant space... walk into any "coffee star music" in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province, people can't help but slow down and enjoy a comfortable time in a quiet space. Lin Yihan, founder of Coffee Star Music, feels happy whenever he sees the satisfied expression of his guests.

Sixteen years ago, Lin Yihan, in his early 20s, came to the mainland from Taiwan with a dream and started a brand-new journey. "From enterprise wage earner to senior executive, very smooth, but still can not forget their entrepreneurial dream." Lin Yihan said.

In 2012, Lin Yihan began more than a year of market research, visited well-known cafes in Taiwan, Beijing, Shanghai and other places, learned from management experience, enriched his coffee knowledge, and communicated with coffee merchants in depth... After doing enough market research, he opened his first coffee shop with the help of Kunshan Taiwan Association Youth Association.

" There are no private rooms, no chess rooms, high floors and industrial-style decoration to match the target audience of the cafe." Lin Yihan said.

Chance favors those who are prepared. Soon, the precise positioning of the cafe captured the hearts of many young people. "Chat, birthday parties, book parties, and even just group daydreaming…We come here almost every weekend for a little gathering." Zhai Minwei, a post-90s employee of State Grid Kunshan City Power Supply Company, said that this is a leisure place for young office workers around him.

The coffee shop's reputation rose with a steady stream of guests. With the launch of Kunshan flagship store, Lin Yihan opened three stores in Hangzhou, Jiangyin and other places.

Over the years, Lin Yihan deeply felt that entrepreneurship is not easy, but also feel that entrepreneurial experience is a valuable asset. There are many young people around who plan to start a business. How can they use their experience to help more people realize their dreams? With such a dedication and dream, Lin Yihan started a brand-new "mellow career"-coffee entrepreneurship counseling.

Cozy coffee, located in Wutaishan Gymnasium in Nanjing City, was opened with Lin Yihan's help. Boss Jin Chao is a 29-year-old young man: "This is the first time in my life to start a business, from site selection, design to decoration, from raw materials, matching to management, are Lin Yihan on-site guidance." I can't remember how many times he came, which saved me a lot of detours." With the help of Lin Yihan, the cafe opened last July and is in good condition.

With the help of Lin Yihan, 11 cafes have been opened one after another, and two more are under negotiation.

In 2016, Lin Yihan won the title of "Top Ten Outstanding Youth" in Kunshan City, becoming the first Taiwanese winner in Kunshan. At the same time, he was also hired by Kunshan Youth League Committee as a youth entrepreneurship tutor to provide advice to young entrepreneurs through youth open classes, entrepreneurship guidance classes, etc. Today, the company that carries Lin Yihan's dream is steadily moving forward, spreading entrepreneurship and youth dreams to more and more young people.
