British employees "sneak out" to buy coffee bosses lose 8 billion pounds a year

Don't think the office coffee machine can make good coffee? Sharp-mouthed British employees are by no means in the minority, and they especially like to go to coffee shops to buy "drinkable" coffee during office hours. This hobby costs British employers 8 billion pounds a year, the Daily Mail said on Wednesday, citing the latest statistics.
According to the report, data from honest Coffee show that the average person in the UK spends 18 hours at work each year buying coffee. Based on the average weekly salary of £500, the average employee costs the boss £250a year and £8 billion a year, which accounts for 0.4 per cent of GDP in the UK.
