On May 15, under the guidance of coffee experts of the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences and relying on the Bureau of Tea and characteristic Biological Industry of Simao District, the "Construction of technological system of Modern Coffee Industry in Yunnan Province-Pu'er Experimental Station" was officially launched in Pu'er Coffee Experimental demonstration Field, Nanping Town, Simao District, under the guidance of coffee experts from Yunnan Provincial Department of Agriculture.
It is reported that in 2017, the test station will mainly carry out regional cultivation experiments and demonstrations for the promotion of new coffee varieties, build a demonstration and promotion base for high-yield and efficient cultivation techniques of coffee, and study the monitoring, investigation, prevention and control measures of coffee diseases and insect pests in Simao area.
