James Hoffman is from London, England. Before entering the coffee industry, he had done a variety of jobs, working in a music company, door-to-door sales, and even working in a casino. However, he doesn't like any of these jobs, especially those who work on shifts.
Hoffman got married to coffee because of a job as a salesman. He was selling coffee machines in a department store on Oxford Street and his main job was to deliver free coffee to passers-by.
