The filter structure of Swiss gold is very dense, so it should be the best filter among many metal filters. However, this also leads to a decrease in the speed of water flow, and its filterability is slightly worse than that of filter paper, that is to say, considering the slow speed of water, the soaking time of coffee in the brewing process will be slightly longer, if you mind the difference in taste caused by this, it can be adjusted by adjusting the fineness of the grinding powder.

Because it is a metal filter, it is bound to be different from the seepage of filter paper and flannel, so in the filtration process, there must be more or less water-insoluble coffee powder along with the coffee liquid filter screen. So the coffee will not be as clear as the filter paper and flannel, and the coffee using Swiss gold will be more or less residual, but compared to the filtering effect of the French press pot, the taste of Swiss gold is still much purer. A small amount of fine powder remains in the coffee, the biggest advantage is to improve the mellowness of the coffee, will not be as light as the coffee filtered by filter paper.

Due to the slow speed of filtering water and the same degree of grinding, when 17 grams of coffee powder is steamed with filter paper, 20 ml of water will drop the coffee liquid, and when using Swiss gold, about 25-30 ml of water is needed before the coffee can be completely soaked.
