Poorly preserved coffee beans can accelerate death. Responsible coffee merchants usually do not bake until they receive your order, and when they ship, they will mark the baking time on the bag to give you a clear idea of where the life cycle of the coffee beans is.

How to test the freshness of coffee beans after they are bought home? Try to cook and drink! Espresso is the most direct and stringent test, as long as the coffee beans are not fresh, there must be no thick soy sauce paste; without the Espresso machine, you can cook it in the easiest way at hand, confirming it with your nose and tongue. Fresh coffee beans should be full of fragrance and rich in layers when they are first ground, while stale coffee beans are just the opposite, with weak aroma and plain taste when ground. After a few times, you will know whether the definition of "fresh" in this coffee shop is up to standard, and of course, if it is not up to standard, it will become a refusal to go to the door; as long as your taste buds say that the taste of this coffee is OK, it is OK!
