Introduction of Orange City Manor
The Orange City Manor is a treasure from Guatemala City (now the capital of Guatemala). The cultivation of coffee has long been extinct in Guatemala City, and after the economic take-off, the city is now commercially developed and full of buildings. However, the hilltop where the Orange City Manor is located, because of the insistence of Lady Rosita, the hostess of the manor, retained the original forest and coffee cultivation on this hill when the urban land was developed. The elevation here is very similar to that of Antigua, and so is the microclimate: hot during the day and cold at night. As a result, Orange City Manor is currently one of the few wild coffee reserves in Guatemala.
Coffee extends freely in the manor, and for 20 or 30 years, there has been no use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides, making the land enjoy a pure and pollution-free growing environment. In addition, the wild coffee from Orange City Manor is the original bourbon species of Guatemala, which has a history of 150 years. It was originally introduced into Guatemala by missionaries and is now very rare.
Because of the scarcity of production, the farm only selects crimson coffee fruits in the production batches and transports them from colder high altitude areas to lower altitude treatment plants with higher temperatures, thus providing excellent fermentation conditions for berries during transportation and helping to dry. as a result, it not only increases the flavor of Orange City Manor Coffee, but also gives it a unique and extraordinary soul.
