Does coffee cause hair loss?
Maybe it's strange that I don't see much, the young men in the community are often one year old! It's a classic look. They are young because it is inferred from their wives and children that the "head of household" is no more than 40 years old, and the so-called "1" is a pair of gentle glasses and sparse hair. As soon as I inquired with my friends, I learned that most of the young couples in this community were teachers in school or talented young people who stood at the post-doctoral station, doing knowledge and research.
So when Mr. Li came to me, I couldn't help thinking about what I had seen that day. Mr. Li has just graduated from his doctorate and is soon in charge of teaching, and his wife and children are still waiting to be reunited with him in his hometown. In order to evaluate the title of the house, Mr. Li makes coffee every day and night, just like he does in the library. It's just that he found himself in his early thirties, but his hair was pitiful. Thinking about it, he inevitably thought of the cup of coffee in his hand-could it be the coffee that caused the hair loss?
In fact, normal people lose 50,100 hairs every day, and the normal hair is in the retrogression and resting period. Because the hair entering the retrogression period and the new growth period is constantly in dynamic balance, the normal number can be maintained. However, if you lose more than 100 hair a day, you will lose your hair. In particular, the fast pace of modern life, increased stress or genetic factors can lead to hair loss. One of the important reasons for male hair loss is that male testosterone produces a chemical called dihydrotestosterone; when there is an excess of dihydrotestosterone in the blood, it can cause hair follicle damage or slow hair growth.
As a stimulant, caffeine can inhibit the destructive effect of dihydrotestosterone on hair follicles and promote the growth of hair cells. Caffeine can block chemicals that damage hair follicles, according to a German study, Malaysia's Guanghua Daily reported. Professor Fisher, who led the study at Yerna University in Germany, said: "Studies have shown that caffeine can effectively stimulate hair growth." They placed the hair follicles of 14 men in test tubes with different concentrations of caffeine for up to eight days and found that their hair grew 33% to 40% faster than normal.
However, the sample size of this experiment is too small to explain the problem. Moreover, if you want to drink coffee alone to treat hair loss, you will get at least 60 cups a day. Research shows that just because a person loves coffee doesn't mean he won't go bald in his old age, unless he smears caffeine directly on the end of his hair. At present, foreign countries have developed anti-hair loss products containing caffeine, which are specially smeared on the head to let caffeine seep into the hair root.
So, if you're worried about losing your hair in the future, you might want to put some caffeine on your scalp while you're young, rather than drinking a lot of coffee to prevent hair loss. Because hair needs sleep more than caffeine. Sleep is one of the main factors affecting hair health. If you drink too much coffee in order not to lose your hair, or even drink it on an empty stomach or near an empty stomach, it will cause excitement and insomnia, which will only make your hair leave you one after another.
Therefore, according to their own specific conditions, try not to drink too much coffee, do not cause excessive excitement. If your physique is not suitable for drinking coffee, get a good night's sleep. Your whole body, including your hair, will benefit a lot.
