Our anaerobic slow-drying (ASD) coffee is a proven method of producing high-altitude coffee, coupled with our native soil, unique microclimate, volcanic soil and lush vegetation that surrounds coffee plantations, making it a unique coffee cup in Panama.

El Burro Manor was founded by our mother's father, Amado Boutet, who emigrated from France in 1800. One of our winners is now a famous coffee farm.

The Lamastus family, which has grown coffee since 1918, owns Elida Manor and El Burro Manor Coffee, both of which have won several prizes in international and local BOP cup competitions, the development of the farm, the quality awareness and orientation of grandfather Thatcher, son Wilford and grandson Wilford Jr., all made possible by their enthusiasm for coffee and family traditions.

El Burro coffee is produced on one of the quietest coffee farms in Panama, such as Elida Farm, and part of it is also in Mount Baru National Park. The farm is planted in the shade of trees, is bird-friendly and is located at a very high altitude (2000 meters for the farm and 1.75m for coffee), and the microclimate is completely different from that of Elida.
