Sanshan River Manor

Fazenda Serra das Tres Barras is located in the mountains of South Minas, just outside the town of Carmo de Minas. The region is recently known for its award-winning quality, producing some of Brazil's best wines. The average elevation of the estate is 1300 Masile. Tres Balas is now a producer with his three sons, Kleiber, Ralph and Herbert de Castro Rongquilla, and his wife, Margaret Maria de Castro.

The family's coffee trees are planted in fertile red soil, ranging from 1100 meters to 1450 meters above sea level, with annual rainfall ranging from 1700 mm to 2200 mm, with four distinct seasons. This special piece of land is carefully processed in the excellent processing facilities of the farm and is not fermented. The coffee is also picked by hand, which is unique in Brazil, where labour costs are relatively high. Coffee is dried in a patio and then in a dryer to achieve the best moisture level before shelling.
