In the remote and beautiful country of Ethiopia, the dense jungle hides a piece of magnificent soil that produces a large number of high-quality beans every year.

It is the birthplace of Rose Xia Village. Ruoxia Village is located in Bench-Maji District, Ethiopia, with a total area of 471ha, with a planting area of 320ha, with elevations ranging from 1909 m to 2069 m. The conservation area accounts for 27%. It is divided into eight plots (Shewa-Jibabu / Dimma / Shaya / Bangi / Gaylee / Narsha / Oma / Surma) according to climate and variety.

Bench-Maji, located in the southwest of Ethiopia, is one of Ethiopia's two major virgin forest coffee (Forest coffee), accounting for about 510% of the production. The coffee trees in the primeval forest are planted in the shade, with sufficient rainfall, fertile soil, and rich ecological environment. Natural shading and intercropping develop a unique aroma of coffee to achieve sustainable environmental and ecological management.

The seed of the original rose summer variety comes from the Gori Gesha Coffee Forest, which is about 20 kilometers away from Rosa Village. Through historical research and genetic testing, this is the birthplace of Panamanian rose coffee. It is divided into several categories:

Gory Rose Summer (Gori Gesha)

Named after Gori Gesha Forest, the birthplace of Rosa coffee, genetic diversity in the forest.

Yilu Forest (Illubabor Forest)

The variety was discovered in 1974 during an expedition to Illubabor Forest, a wild variety collected by researchers during the expedition. It was officially released by the Ethiopian Gima Research Center (Jimma Argicultural) for 1. 5% of the reasons. Good disease resistance 2. High quality cup test quality 3. Good output. The GV team chose to plant a variety originated in the Yilu Highland Coffee Forest, and the cup test flavor potential of this variety was the main factor at that time, in addition to reducing the planting risk at that time in addition to disease resistance and yield.

Rosa 1931 (Gesha 1931)

The combination of varieties with different forests is very similar to Panamanian Rosa, which is screened by observing its plant type, bean-shaped appearance, mesh size and cup flavor.
