Located in one of the most beautiful valleys, Richter Risheehat Tea Garden is famous for growing the best organic tea. Steep terrain, fertile soil, temperature and rainfall are the best organic Darjeeling Tea to grow. Richter Risheehat Tea Garden is located 14 kilometers east of the main urban area of Darjeeling, facing the main towns of Darjeeling and the beautiful Kanchanjangha peak.

Because of the dominance of the Ciren Tsering Bagan (a Tibetan group) in the region, the place was earlier known as Ciren Bakan. At the beginning of the 20th century, British growers set up a tea garden here. It was later renamed Rishihat, which means "house of saints". In 1955, it was acquired by Jay Shree Tea.

Before 1963, Lisa Mountain Tea Garden was an independent manor with its own tea factory, but later it became a branch of Rishihart Tea Garden.

Tea gardens around Richter Risheehat include: Arya Tea Garden and Chongtong Tea Garden. It's about 14 kilometers from Darjeeling.

Acquired by Jayshree Tea Management in 1955, the garden is divided into two main areas-the Rishihat main area and the Liza Hill area. Today, the estate produces more than 180 tons of certified bio-organic tea each year, with a healthy zero vacancy rate in the estate. The manor has Fairtrade certification, ISO 1901 TUV NORD 2008 and HAACCP, not to mention NPOP, POP and JAS organic certification issued by IMO.

It is famous for the musk grape flavor of summer tea. Spring picking tea is a unique fruity flavor.

The two sides of the tea garden naturally flow all the year round, separated from other gardens. The tea garden is very compact and healthy, with zero vacancy rate. The shadow state is unique.
