Recently, Ningbo Daily and other media reported that the Tims coffee shop in Tianyi Square was officially closed.

It is understood that the store, which opened on April 30, 2021, is the first store for Tims to enter Ningbo. In the memories of local residents, when the coffee shop opened, the door was full of customers who came to sign in, and many of them could still remember the signature cup of fresh coffee they bought at Tims for the first time.

With the passage of time, the store has become the residence of many citizens around, including office workers with computers in their arms and students who study by themselves in the store. In the impression of passers-by, even on weekdays with low traffic, the store will not have very few guests, and on weekends, customers who enter the store may have to wait a while before they have a seat available.

However, in less than four years, the Tims store, which smelled of coffee and baked bread in the air, suddenly posted a closure notice on the front door, which surprised users. According to the closing notice, Tims Ningbo's first store was closed on February 28th, 2025 due to business adjustment. The reporter also confirmed the news of the closure to Tianyi Square and learned that the square is negotiating with another brand to settle in.
