Be reasonable! Qian Jie believes that "matching" can really be called a very interesting "artistic creation." Because whether it is tea or coffee, we can combine it to create a unique taste and taste that a single product does not have. So when we are tired of drinking a certain item, it is also a good choice to break the limitations of the item by combining it and create more complex and richer sensory enjoyment.

In general, the blending object of coffee usually refers to coffee beans, which can be a blending of raw coffee beans or cooked beans, without any restrictions. Why did Front Street mention this? Because a friend asked yesterday: Can you mix the coffee liquid after making coffee?

Don't even think about it, of course you can! Although most of the brewed coffee that you usually hear refers to blended coffee beans or coffee made from blended coffee beans, in fact, many people are "blending coffee liquids," which is to brew different coffees. After that, you can blend them according to your own ideas. This approach has many advantages! For example, we can brew each bean using the corresponding parameters according to the characteristics of each bean, and then get the best coffee and then blend it; or we can only use a small amount of coffee liquid to try to blend it each time. The advantage is that we only need to brew several pots of coffee, and then we can blend it multiple times and in different proportions; or when the blended taste is not right, we can also directly drink the remaining coffee liquid that has not been blended... All in all, there are many advantages to blending coffee liquor. Because of this, professionals in many links will adopt this kind of matching method. For example, when developing and blending coffee beans, bean roasters will use this method to determine the proportion of blending; or players participating in competitions will use this method to create a unique coffee experience, which is also derived from the emergence of various "blending" products such as double cylinder filter cups and "Mandarin duck filter paper". So today, Qianjie will come to share with you the idea of matching. When you have nothing to do, you can also try this kind of gameplay. It's really interesting.

As we all know, anaerobic coffee beans usually have a deep fermentation degree, so they have a very strong aroma that allows us to easily associate the flavor. But in addition to pleasing aromas such as flowers and fruits, anaerobic coffee generally has a fermentation aroma similar to that produced by ripe fruit after fermentation for a long time, much like the aroma of wine. Not all friends can accept this aroma! So at times like this, we can mix coffee with lower fermentation levels to create a cup of delicious coffee with less obvious fermentation but unusual flavor ~

You can try blending washed coffee, because washed coffee does not ferment so deeply, which can well balance the fermentation aroma and further improve the cleanliness of the coffee. Take Qianjie as an example. The coffee beans used in Qianjie are Xizhao (flavors are expressed as: grapes, passion fruits, apricot peaches, fruit wine) and Qianjie Yejia Shefei Ding (flavors are expressed as: white floral fragrance, lemon, green tea). Because the degree of baking is similar, their brewing parameters are the same. They are: brewing water temperature of 92°C, powder and water ratio of 1:15, grinding degree of 75% to 80% of the sieving rate of No. 20 sieve, grinding and extraction of fine sugar. Control the time at about 2 minutes.

Because we need to mix, we can use less beans, about 5 to 10g per serving. If you have a small-capacity filter cup like the V30 at home, you can use it directly. If you don't have it, you only have a regular filter cup. Then you can refer to the idea "Portal" in Qianjie's article when cooking.

After brewing, we can mix the coffee liquor according to our preferences. How to cook it depends on what kind of coffee you want to get. For example, if you want the flavor of coffee to be more prominent, then you can use a ratio of 1:1 to mix it. The coffee blended in this ratio will have strong grape, apricot, and citrus flavors, followed by a light floral aroma, green tea, and a certain fermentation aroma; if you don't want the fermentation aroma to be too strong, then you can use 1:2.5 ratio to blend, with 1:1 and 2.5. The fermentation feeling of the coffee blended in this way will be greatly reduced, but because the other flavors of Qianjie Xizhao coffee are quite prominent, even if we fight this way, we can still drink the obvious grape and passion fruit flavors. In addition, there are also the strong white floral fragrance of fruit tintin, lemon, and green tea flavors, which are very good.

By analogy, it is very simple to add more whichever you like more. However, everyone should pay attention to that the tonality of the coffee used during blending should not differ too much, otherwise it will easily produce an obvious sense of obtrusiveness. For example, when you blend very lightly roasted and very deeply roasted coffee, you can easily get a cup of coffee that tastes oddly. So the above is all the content shared by Qianjie this time! Then the upper front street just gave an example of flavor blending. In addition, we can also create blending based on the taste or other characteristics of coffee. The practice is the same, it is very simple and fun, you can really try it!
