From the end of October, Yunnan coffee will usher in the first round of picking, according to previous years, November, December, Yunnan coffee will usher in a large-scale harvest. Starbucks partner Aishi Coffee announced a cut in the prices of several of its coffee beans while the beans were being mined.

On Oct. 29, the official Sina Weibo and the official website simultaneously issued a notice of price adjustment: from now on, the prices of roasted beans and Italian blended beans in the country of origin of Aijia coffee will be reduced to varying degrees, with a maximum price reduction of 22%. In addition, the original prices of other products such as Manaka, coffee gift boxes and coffee machines remain unchanged.

It is understood that this is the first price adjustment for Aiwei Coffee to enter the domestic market since it established a joint venture with Starbucks in February this year. As for the price reduction, Huang Lei, general manager of Aichi Coffee, said: "the main reason for this price adjustment is that Yunnan coffee has entered a period of rapid development after development in recent years, especially in view of the growth of coffee this year. We are about to usher in a new round of 'harvest season'. At present, many dealers and cafes have ordered seasonal beans from Aiwei coffee.

It has become a trend to increase the output of coffee in Yunnan this year. Xu Zhenghong, the coffee industry development office of Pu'er City, said in a telephone interview with our reporter yesterday: "Coffee is growing very well this year and there must be a bumper harvest. The acreage of coffee that can be harvested this year has also increased from 190000 mu last year to 270000 mu. In mid-November, major companies will focus on acquisitions. The reporter learned from Nestl é and Pu'er Coffee Industry Office that Nestle Coffee, which was the first to enter Yunnan and is also the largest coffee buyer in Yunnan, has announced that it will officially start purchasing in Pu'er region on November 19.
