In recent years, meteorological disasters have occurred frequently, seriously affecting coffee cultivation. The agricultural, scientific and meteorological departments of Pu 'er strengthened cooperation, carried out research on the relationship between coffee and meteorology, established coffee meteorological service system, and used meteorological information to serve coffee production and disaster prevention and mitigation, thus minimizing the harm and loss caused by disasters and achieving remarkable economic and social benefits.
It is reported that the agriculture, science and technology and meteorological departments of Pu 'er City will strengthen analysis and research on the basis of coffee climate test station, combined with the existing automatic weather station, satellite, new generation weather radar and other detection data of meteorological department, further improve coffee meteorological service system, establish data and resource sharing service mechanism, improve coffee meteorological service capacity, and provide strong meteorological science and technology support for the development of local coffee industry.
