Study on the effect of healthy drinking coffee shows that coffee can prevent the deterioration of hepatitis C.
Drinking several cups of coffee a day can prevent the progression of hepatitis C and related liver diseases, scientists have found.
National Cancer Institute Neil? Friedman was in charge of the study. He asked 766 hepatitis C patients who had never received formal treatment how often and how much coffee and tea they drank. Among them, the frequency is divided into "never drink","daily drink" two kinds; and daily drinkers also need to answer the drinking amount, divided into "1 cup","2 cups","3 to 4 cups","5 cups and more" 4 kinds.
The results showed that hepatitis C patients who drank three or more cups of coffee a day were 53 percent less likely to get worse than those who did not drink coffee. The researchers found no link between tea drinking and hepatitis C progression.
