In Malaysia,"Old Street" is a well-known brand. You can't go anywhere--airport highways, department stores, taxis, even public toilets--without seeing the name "oldtow n." The "old street" approach is not only the ubiquitous coffee products, but also the ubiquitous "oldtow ncafé"(old street cafe).
Before I went to Malaysia, I planned to go to Old Street Cafe for coffee. Since Old Street has been my favorite instant coffee for the past decade, I wonder how much better the local brand of freshly brewed coffee tastes than instant.
"Old Street Cafe" is easy to find, in the capital Kuala Lumpur, as long as it is not too remote areas, you walk in any direction for up to 20 minutes, you can always bump into one.
