This paper introduces the use of a drip-filter coffee pot:
Brewing coffee with a filter cup is a quite economical and convenient method. Its principle is the same as that of American coffee, but it seems simple but actually requires considerable experience. It is even more difficult than siphon coffee. If there is enough kung fu, it can make a cup of coffee of a very high level. Its key point is whether it can handle the amount of water and speed.
Preparation materials: a filter cup, filter paper the size of a filter cup, a lovely glass pot (best for direct heating) or any container, a kettle.
Step 1, it needs the same thickness of coffee powder as American coffee.
Step 2, its filter paper is used in the same way as American coffee, so that the filter paper can be completely glued to the filter cup funnel.
Step 3, the amount of coffee powder is the same as that of American coffee, about 1215g per cup, which can be added or subtracted at your own discretion.
Step 4, after the coffee powder is poured into the filter paper, the coffee powder is flattened, and the coffee powder is slightly dialed around from the central point, but do not press the coffee powder tightly to make the coffee powder a little funnel-shaped.
Step 5, burn the glass pot or other container at the bottom with hot water so that the coffee doesn't get cold too fast.
Step 6, cool the boiling hot water to about 93 ℃, use a slender kettle with a spout to pour water from the center of the coffee powder, with a stable amount of water and speed, go around the circle outward, but remember not to rush to the place where there is no coffee powder, wait until the water is full of coffee powder, let the water filter, but do not wait for the water to drip dry, you should continue to flush the water around the circle from the middle.
After 2 or 3 flushes, until the pot below reaches the standard amount of water we want (150 grams per cup), remove the filter cup immediately, regardless of whether there is still water in the cup or not.
Step 7, heat the brewed coffee a little bit, it will taste better, but never boil the coffee.
When using a filter cup to make coffee, one of the key points is not to brew too little because the less the powder, the more difficult it is to control the amount of water.
