In recent years, Ning'er County actively and reasonably guides farmers in accordance with the principles of regional layout, base production, large-scale development, establishment of local backbone industries and avoiding industrial contradictions in hot areas, so that the scale of coffee cultivation continues to grow. According to statistics, 16000 mu of coffee was newly planted in the county in 2011, and it is expected that the coffee planting area of the county will reach more than 83000 mu by the end of the year; by 2015, the area will reach more than 100000 mu, the output of coffee beans will reach 10, 000 tons, and the output value is expected to reach more than 200 million yuan.

Ninger is famous for Pu'er tea at home and abroad. the existing ancient tea-horse road includes Cha'antang section, peacock screen section, Tongxin Naokoli section and Dongling section, there are wild tea trees and many modern ecological tea mountains, and Pu'er tea culture is rich in tourism resources.
