It is understood that the Yunnan New Europe International Special Train will be launched on July 1. At that time, the train loaded with 2050 tons of Yunnan raw coffee beans will depart from Kunming to Hamburg, Germany, Europe, and the journey time can be reduced from more than one month to 15 days.
The opening of Yunnan new Europe international special train fills the gap of Yunnan coffee without international railway freight. "We are very eager to open Yunnan-Xinzhou-European railway freight transport. This year, Hougu has signed an order of more than 20,000 tons, which can achieve the delivery of special trains twice a month and stabilize the transport volume of Yunnan's export goods. In the harvest season from this year to next year, Yunnan coffee production is expected to be about 150000 tons. By that time, Hougu Coffee alone will have a freight volume of 60, 000 tons. "
Yunnan, as the largest coffee export base in China, accounts for more than 99% of the country in terms of planting area and output. according to statistics, Yunnan Province has a coffee planting area of more than 1.8 million mu and an output of 118000 tons by 2015. In 2014, Yunnan Province exported 67200 tons of coffee. As a major coffee consumer in Europe, the average annual coffee consumption is 3.6 million tons, and the coffee exported from Asia is about 1.4 million tons, including the three main producing areas of Yunnan, Vietnam and Indonesia. In the past, if Yunnan coffee was to be transported to Europe, it had to be transported by sea, through the Strait of Malacca, through the Mediterranean, and then to Russia, Turkey, Britain, Spain and other countries and regions. It will take 30 days to arrive in Europe at the earliest, and it will take more than 40 days in the event of typhoons and other factors.
After the opening of the Yunnan New Europe International Special Train on July 1, Yunnan Coffee will depart from Kunming by train, travel to Baoji via the Chengdu-Kunming Railway, and leave the Alashan pass in the west. It will take half a month to get to Europe, saving enterprises nearly 2 and 3 times. "by opening an international railway coffee freight train, European coffee customers can place orders and receive Yunnan coffee in 15 days.
