If you’ve ever walked into a beautifully designed bathroom and wondered how it balances form and function, you’re not alone. More homeowners are turning once purely utilitarian spaces into artistic corners of their homes—especially with unexpected design elements like a coffee cup-shaped sink.

The Artceram coffee cup sink redefines bathroom basins by combining everyday familiarity with high-concept design. Created by Italian firm Meneghello Paolelli Associati, it’s available in both black and white, offering two distinct styles while maintaining a sculptural simplicity.

What Is the Artceram Coffee Cup Sink?

The Artceram coffee cup sink is not just a novelty—it’s a carefully crafted fixture that mimics the silhouette of a traditional coffee cup. Its most distinctive feature? The towel bar is integrated into the cup’s handle, creating a seamless blend of utility and form. Though it looks like a giant mug, it functions fully as a modern washbasin.

Why This Design Works in Modern Bathrooms

Bathrooms often make up a significant portion of home renovation budgets, and more people are investing in unique, artistic elements that elevate the space. The coffee cup sink does just that. Its sculptural shape draws the eye without overwhelming the room. The minimalist design ensures it fits into contemporary, minimalist, or even industrial-style interiors. Whether you prefer a bold statement piece or subtle artistry, this sink offers personality without clutter.

Design Details and Available Options

The Artceram coffee cup sink comes in two colourways: black and white. Each version maintains the same sculptural form but delivers a different mood—white offers a clean, bright aesthetic, while black introduces a dramatic, modern contrast. The sink features a smooth, ceramic-like finish typical of high-end Artceram products, known for their quality and artisanal appeal. The handle doubles as a practical spot for hanging a towel, keeping the design both clever and usable.

Its standalone structure means it doesn’t require a traditional cabinet or bulky infrastructure, making it suitable for smaller bathrooms or powder rooms as well. Despite its playful inspiration, the sink remains true to its function—offering a sleek, easy-to-clean surface built for daily use.
