1. Brazil

Indonesia is definitely a bigger producer of coffee than India. About 90 per cent of coffee produced in the country is produced by smallholder farmers. It was also one of the earliest producers of coffee outside of India and the Arab world. The country produces two main types of coffee beans: coffee tree canephora and Arabica coffee tree.

8. Honduras

Honduras is primarily an agricultural country, and its economy depends to a large extent on its agricultural exports. Coffee is the country's biggest cash crop in terms of exports. The advantage of this country is that it has the climate and environment necessary for coffee production. Unfortunately, however, it lacks processing technology, infrastructure and branding, and for this reason exporters are unable to charge a premium.

9. Mexico

Coffee grown in the country is mainly distributed in the southern and central regions. Coffee was brought to Mexico in the Antilles at the end of the 18th century.
