Last Updated: 2024/11/03, The caffeine content of Thai Red Bull beverage is as high as 279.7PPm, which far exceeds the 150PPm standard stipulated by our country, and its import is banned by AQSIQ [2006] No. 45.

Bihai Yinsha Network (article / special photographer Chen Yanling editor / Luzi Yunhai) A supermarket in Xiashan seized a total of 240 cans of 10 pieces of Thai-made Red Bull drinks that are forbidden to be sold on the market.

On the day of the incident, according to the reporting clues, the law enforcement personnel of the economic inspection detachment organized by the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Commerce found the problematic drinks in a supermarket in Xiashan District. The beverage cans were all marked in foreign languages without any Chinese signs. It is understood that the Thai Red Bull drinks were purchased by the person in charge of the supermarket from the hands of unscrupulous businessmen in Guangzhou.

In view of the fact that the supermarket's ban on the sale of "Red Bull" drinks into Thailand is an act of operating illegal food and violating the relevant provisions of the Food Safety Law of the people's Republic of China, the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Commerce has filed a case against the supermarket.

At present, the case is under further investigation.
