Research shows that four cups of coffee a day away from uterine cancer reduces the risk by 25%

According to the Daily Mail of November 23, a large-scale long-term study by Harvard University published in the journal Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers and Prevention found that women who drank four cups of coffee a day reduced the risk of uterine cancer by 25%. Drinking coffee regularly can especially reduce the risk of the most common type of endometrial cancer.
The new study, conducted by scientists at the Harvard School of Public Health, lasted 26 years and involved nearly 70,000 female participants. During the study period, a total of 672 women were diagnosed with uterine cancer. Women who drink at least four cups of coffee a day have a 25% lower risk of uterine cancer than women who drink less than one cup of coffee a day, a new study has found. Although drinking tea does not have the same effect, both caffeinated coffee and decaffeinated coffee have the effect of preventing uterine cancer.
It is reported that endometrial cancer is the most common uterine cancer, with 6400 new cases and 1000 deaths each year in the UK alone. The risk of uterine cancer increases with age, weight gain and family history.
Scientists at Harvard University say increasing exercise and maintaining a normal weight are the most important measures to prevent endometrial cancer. However, it is also important to improve your eating habits. For example, drinking coffee regularly is also a good and easy option. Scientists warn that adding cream and sugar to coffee will counteract the anti-cancer effects of coffee like smoking.
New head of research, Advanced Research Institute Edward? Professor Giovannucci analyzed that coffee helps fight cancer associated with obesity, insulin and estrogen, and studies have found that coffee helps improve insulin resistance. Laboratory studies have also found that one of the key factors is that coffee contains more antioxidants than most fruits and vegetables.
