Coffee and cigarette Coffee and Cigarettes

This is a collection of short films composed of eleven short stories. Each short film revolves around cigarettes and coffee, but not around these two objects.

1. Roberto Benigni was sitting in a cafe drinking coffee when Steve Wright came to talk to him, but the two seemed to have nothing in common and were only repeating their love for coffee and cigarettes.

Second, in a coffee shop sat a pair of black twins, the coffee shop waiter suddenly very interested in them, that is, sat down to talk to them, but the brother and sister seem to have no interest in this unintelligible person, just continue to smoke and drink coffee.

The 36th story

In a corner of Taipei, there stands a quiet and elegant coffee shop. Its owner Duoer (Gui Lun magnesium) and Rose (Lin Chenxi) are a pair of beautiful sister flowers. Duoer's idea of running a coffee shop has existed for a long time. By chance, she was able to realize her dream. Although a lot of painstaking efforts were devoted, the coffee shop gradually died down after the hustle and bustle at the beginning of the opening.

At a time when the two sisters were worried about this, a Thai recipe sent by a friend to celebrate the opening of the business inspired the ghost. French Fried Coffee French Roast

Somewhere in France, a quiet and idle atmosphere is wanton, and in a roadside cafe, a well-dressed and arrogant gentleman is leisurely reading the newspaper. During this period, a beggar walked into a cafe and begged, and the gentleman covered his face with a newspaper and ignored it. Instead, it was the old woman next door who gave the beggar a large banknote.

When the gentleman was ready to pay the bill and leave, he found himself penniless. The film tells two seemingly unrelated stories:

The first story takes place in Montreal today. Anthony is a very successful DJ who carefully maintains a fragile balance between his new lover Ross and his old lover Caroline. In addition, he has to take care of his daughter and think about his future and career. The anxious life finally pushed him to the brink of collapse.

The second story takes place in Paris in 1969, and the protagonist is a mother named Jacqueline. Jacqueline has a son who suffers from severe Down syndrome. For the sake of her son's illness, Jacqueline has abandoned almost all her life to take care of him. He ignored the dissuasion of his husband and the doctor and insisted on raising the child in his own way. But his children gradually became interested in the outside world, and his interest eventually hurt his relationship with his mother.

This film won the best animated film award at the 2009 Cordoba International Animation Film Festival in Argentina.

The Story of the Cafe
