Coffee exports from Vietnam reached 2.3 billion US dollars in the first half of the year.
According to a report in Vietnam's Financial Times on July 2, Vietnam's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said a few days ago that in the first half of this year, a total of 1.1 million tons of coffee were exported, earning foreign exchange of 2.3 billion US dollars, up 25.6% and 20.4% respectively over the same period last year. In June, 190000 tons of coffee were exported, earning a foreign exchange of 397 million US dollars. In the first five months, Germany and the United States, the two largest coffee markets in Vietnam, achieved rapid growth, while the Indonesian market also imported 36600 tons of Vietnamese coffee in the first five months, which was 7.87 times and 7.23 times that of the same period last year, respectively.
