The World Coffee Science Congress, known as the "Olympics" of the coffee industry, will be held in Yunnan from November 13 to 19. In fact, coffee, as an international commodity second only to crude oil, has become a new engine of global consumption. Xiong Xiangren, Chinese chairman of the conference organizing committee and chairman of Dehong Hougu Coffee Co., Ltd., told reporters that at present, China's coffee consumption growth rate is more than 25%, and China is expected to become one of the largest coffee consumption markets in the world. for Yunnan, which accounts for 99% of the country's coffee production, although it has high-quality coffee raw materials, coffee sales are in an awkward position, with few local brands.
