Rainfall in Brazil's main sugar and coffee producing areas will increase in the next 10 days
According to foreign news on November 26th, Brazilian meteorological service SOMAR said in a report on Wednesday that the rainfall that began this week in Brazil's main sugar and coffee producing areas will increase in the next 10 days, especially in the western part of Minas Gerais.
In the past 48 hours, more than 25 centimeters of rain has fallen in agricultural production areas in the northern states of Sao Paulo and Minas Gerais, according to Inmet, a weather service backed by the Brazilian government. A cold front has finally brought rain to the area, which has been plagued by drought since spring.
According to SOMAR, there will be more showers in parts of Minas Gerais in the future, where coffee production accounts for half of Brazil's production.
