Cameroon achieved a total output of about 20, 000 tons of coffee beans in the coffee harvest year 2013-2014
According to the "Investment Cameroon" website reported on November 3, Cameroon's 2013-2014 coffee harvest year has ended at the end of September 2014, according to Cameroon's National Office of Cocoa and Coffee (ONCC) statistics, Cameroon 2013-2014 coffee harvest year to achieve a total coffee bean production of about 20,000 tons (of which Robster coffee beans accounted for 95% of the total production), compared with the previous coffee harvest year of 25,000 tons decreased by 5000 tons.
In terms of exports, during the coffee harvest year of 2013-2014, the export volume of Karloster coffee beans reached 17247 tons, an increase of 2523 tons compared with 14724 tons in the previous coffee harvest year.
According to the "cocoa and coffee industry restart plan" formulated by the government of Cameroon, the coffee industry of Cameroon needs to invest 600 billion CFA francs from 2015 to 2020, striving to make the total output of coffee in Cameroon reach 185,000 tons by 2020, including 150,000 tons of Robusta coffee beans and 35,000 tons of Arabica coffee beans.
