At the entrance to Xianlin Lake, a "step-by-step lotus" environment will be created, and two "lotus leaf" buildings will be used in the design. Apart from eating and singing, Hall 2 will build an interactive theatre. As the main leisure park in Xianlin University City, the planning has also added features to the commercial street, which will create Nanjing's first coffee-themed block, which is dominated by all kinds of cafes, from well-known brands to creative shops.

At the same time, in terms of leisure, Xianlin Lake planning also introduces the concept of "Academy" into the hotel to build a boutique hotel with catering, training and accommodation as the system. Combine cultural activities such as calligraphy and painting academy, Chinese school and theme summer camp with wine to create a compound cultural theme space. In addition, beaches, extreme sports grounds and skateboarding venues will be built in the parent-child fitness area.

In the future, Xianlin Lake will be transformed into an urban comprehensive park with six major functional areas on the basis of the existing wetland park. Xianlin Lake is surrounded by comprehensive service area, cultural and creative area, waterfront ecological area and parent-child activity fitness area, which more reflects the characteristics of urban parks, mainly to serve residents and college students for leisure and entertainment.

In the middle of the lake, it will be built into a Southern Dynasty-style "New Chinese" style architecture, and the lake leisure area will maintain its original wetland style. According to the plan, Xianlin Lake will arrange sponge technologies such as ecological drainage ditches, infiltration paving, sunken green space, and wetlands according to local conditions to replace the traditional underground Rain Water drainage pipeline and give full play to the role of the site in absorbing, storing seepage and slow release of Rain Water, effectively utilize the site Rain Water resources, and restore the natural hydrological cycle.
