On the afternoon of May 28th, the sixth China Fushan Coffee Cup International Barista Championship ended successfully in Chengmai Fushan Coffee Culture Town. 24 coffee elites from Poland, Italy, Kenya, as well as China's provinces, Hong Kong and Taiwan, after two days of intense competition, Diego Fernando from Colombia conquered the judges with their superb skills and excellent creative performance. Liu Shengnan from Malaysia and Jimmy Halim from Indonesia were runners-up and runners-up respectively. Pan Zhimin from Beijing, China, and Martin Shabaya from Kenya finished fourth and fifth, respectively.
After winning the award, Diego Fernando said in an interview with reporters that this is the second time he has come to Fushan to participate in the China Fushan Coffee Cup International Barista Championship. It is understood that the prize for this year's Fushan coffee cup is 25000 yuan for the champion, 20000 yuan for the runner-up, 15000 yuan for the second runner-up, 12000 yuan for the fourth and 10000 yuan for the fifth. The competition is judged in strict accordance with the rules of the International WBC Competition. The contestants make coffee within a limited time of the competition and describe the flavor of the coffee to the judges. A professional jury composed of famous coffee judges from Colombia, Indonesia, Poland, Australia, Italy, the United Kingdom and China evaluates the cleanliness, coffee taste, purity, creativity, technical level and overall performance of the contestants' work area.
The competition has been successfully held for five consecutive years, and has become a high-standard and high-level industry competition in the coffee industry.
