Galapagos Islands (Spanish: Islas Gala á pagos
The official name: Archipi é Lago de Col ó n), the official name is Cologne Islands, located on both sides of the equator in the eastern Pacific Ocean, belonging to the volcanic archipelago under the jurisdiction of Ecuador. The Galapagos Islands are made up of seven large islands, 23 small islands and more than 50 reefs, scattered over a sea area of about 59500 square kilometers (23000 square miles). The equator runs through the northern part of the archipelago, which extends 300km from north to south and covers an area of 7976 square kilometres, of which 96.6 per cent is now a national park surrounded by a marine protected area of 79.9square kilometres. The archipelago is 1100 kilometers away from Ecuador and belongs to the Galapagos province. The Galapagos Islands were formed by huge undersea volcanic eruptions four or five million years ago and rose to the surface more than a million years ago. It is known as the last paradise on earth because of its natural simplicity.

Its unique geographical conditions give coffee beans excellent genes that are superior to those from other producing areas, so that coffee lovers all over the world can not refuse such delicious coffee.
