[Catimor] Katimo
The hybrid of Caturra and Timor. It was discovered in Portugal in 1959. The palate is obvious and easy to distinguish, with bitter acidity and a salty finish. In the Timo family, Robusta has low acidity and high bitterness, giving off spicy herbal and fruit peel aromas. It has high planting density and strong resistance to leaf rust, so it has become a high-yield variety. Oro Azteca is a dwarf selection.
In the past, Latin America has grown a lot of Catimor on the advice of agricultural experts, and after a decade, their advice has been proved wrong because coffee farmers cannot sell their beans at the right price.

The hybrid of Timor hybrid 832amp1 and Caturra. Mexico's INIFAP is selected by genealogical method. Short, green top, high yield, small beans, medium cup. Planting density such as Caturra,5000--6000 plant / hectare, high nutrient demand, low resistance to leaf rust, easy to infect berry disease and nematode. It is suitable for planting at an altitude of 600 MULTHI 1200 meters. The density is similar to that of Caturra planting 5000 Murray plants per hectare.

Planting density such as Caturra,5000--6000 plant per hectare, high nutrient demand, low resistance to leaf rust, susceptibility to berry disease and nematode. It is suitable for planting in acidic soil with an altitude of 600 MULTHI 1200 meters.

Planting density such as Caturra, 4000 Murray 5000 plants per hectare, extremely high nutrient demand, low resistance to leaf rust, susceptibility to berry disease and nematode. It is suitable to be planted at an altitude of 600MUR / 1000 m.

Planting density such as Caturra,4000--5000 plant per hectare, high nutrient demand, low resistance to leaf rust, susceptibility to berry disease and nematode. It is suitable for planting in acidic soil with an altitude of 600m / 100m. Very similar to T5175.
