Coffee Story of Camellia Manor in Nicaragua

Nicaragua is located in the Central American isthmus, the eastern half of the Atlantic coast is mostly low-altitude plains and hills, while the southern area facing the Pacific coast is mostly lakes, even if there are volcanic groups, the elevation is not too high. The northern and central mountains with high elevations are the main coffee producing areas in Nicaragua, and the three most important coffee producing areas, Segovia, Metagalpa, and Jinotega, are all here. Most of the awards are awarded by the estates of these three producing areas in the COE competition held every year.

Camelias means camellia in Spanish, so Camelias Manor is called Camellia Manor. The manor is located in the Jinotega producing area, where coffee is grown in the volcanic mountains from 1000 to 1400m above sea level; local farmers tend to grow in the shade and use nearby Lake Apanas water for irrigation and washing.
