Beautiful Manor is the domestic winner of the 2016 Guatemala Excellence Cup! Since 2016, the score that has passed the international evaluation will be divided into two winning distances, with national or domestic winners from 84 to 85.99 and international winning batches from 86 to 100.

Beautiful Manor (La Hermosa), run by Max Perry (Max Perez), is located in the high-altitude volcanic area of the Akatilange Valley, which we are very familiar with.
Max comes from the coffee family of the Vera Plateau. The Beautiful Manor is the San Miguel, El Pensativo, El Carmen and San Mateo blocks of the early Finca La Colia he bought in 2006, and then integrated into his coffee farm, including post-processing facilities. These plots are actually located in the same town in the Akatilang Mountains, so they are easy to manage.
Max has a deep understanding of quality, including seed selection, seedling raising, planting, harvesting, post-processing, and planning, coupled with the fact that Jushan Manor was famous for producing good coffee in its early years. After taking over, Max has won the Excellence Cup twice. He even planned a professional cup test room in Guatemala City, the capital. I visited and tested the cup with him several times.
After 4 months of low temperature storage, the cup test score of this batch of Beautiful Manor excellent beans is as high as 89 points, which is really worth it! Max told me: if the delivery date of the excellent Cup is too early for this batch, if it is one more month, I am sure I will be at the top of the list!
