Friends say that Shanghai is the most westernized city on the mainland. I can agree with this sentence, from the past history to the presence of international companies, the development of a sound economic and trade exchange center, the most modern city is Shanghai. I especially like the neighborhoods and old houses in old Shanghai. although many places have become more and more modern, architecture can thoroughly experience the preservation of culture both physically and mentally, especially in the old houses in Shanghai, drinking western coffee and desserts. Conflict and harmony.

After several renovations, Lumazi Coffee is my first Shanghai Coffee. The decorated design and the use of building materials are in line with the vision of the streets of the old community, modern and harmonious; 1984 Bookstore behind the mysterious door contains the mysterious fantasies of the classic 1984 books.

The best coffee in Shanghai, Lumaz Coffee

When it comes to Shanghai Coffee, the first thing that comes to mind is Lumaz / rumors Coffee, which is located near the subway station of Shanghai Library. If you ask me which coffee shop is the best in Shanghai, I will also say that it is Lumaz!

Ninety-nine percent of the order menu in the store is a coffee drink option, taking the boutique coffee route. The selection of beans and roasting from coffee are all carried out by the Japanese boss himself, and sometimes the boss can be seen in the shop to make coffee for the guests, with proper quality control!

As long as it is mentioned that Shanghai is the best coffee, I personally recommend Lumaz! (it's so important that I said it three times.)

Lumazi has two branches, one is located on Xingguo Road, and the other is the shop on Hunan Road where I visit most often.

The picture above shows Manning and Strawberry Cake, hand-washed gold from past visits. The cake is also made by Japanese chefs, with a daily limit!

After several renovations, the shop on Hunan Road has fewer seats, so it is often full. After decoration, in addition to adjusting the number of seats more and more comfortable, the take-out coffee production area has been added, so that coffee lovers who pass by who do not have time to make can take away a nice cup. At the same time, the window is also changed into an open design, you can see the situation in the store when you pass by in spring or autumn, the clerk makes coffee for the guests at the bar, and the guests sit by the window and taste it leisurely.

On this day, I ordered ice cream coffee and sat by the side of the road to spend a leisurely evening with my friends.

Coffee bookstore without books, 1984 Bookstore

There are no instructions outside the black gate, and one will miss it if he is not careful.

After pushing open the door, I passed through a small passageway and saw a bookcase. Most of the books on the shelves were books of literature and art, but the books on the shelves were not for sale.

Bookstores that do not sell books offer coffee and desserts for reading, and although books on the shelves are not for sale, if you want to take away some souvenirs, you can buy some notebooks and small bookmarks at the counter; the indoor space here is more like a studio, outdoor citizens' backyard space, and the open space under the shade of the trees makes it cozy to drink coffee at home.

There are also two cats in the shop, they go in and out and play at will is their own home.

On that day, I photographed the tiger spot lazily on the wooden table, and the figure of the three flowers turned away, 😀.

On this day, I chose to sit by the indoor window.

The indoor table and chair furniture has its own characteristics, sitting in each position has a different spiritual feeling, ordered an iced latte and apple pie, and brought books to read. I had a calm and happy afternoon 😀.

Ankolin Mur Mur...

Have you found the address of Rumaz and 1984 Bookstore... That's right! They are right next door (the black gate on the left is the 1984 Bookstore entrance)! These two shops are my most frequent haunts in Shanghai. This afternoon, I chose to read and drink coffee at 1984 Bookstore. When I slipped my mobile phone during the dinner, I saw a Taiwanese friend sharing a post about drinking coffee. After chatting, I found that my friend was in the Lumazi afternoon tea next door. Is it a unique fate, 😀?
