Nicaragua is divided into four major regions: Segovias, Matagalpa/Jinotega, Boaco and Pacific Coast.

Genaro Herrera, the owner of the estate, founded the estate 14 years ago. It is located at an altitude of about 1300 meters and has a planting area of about 16 hectares.
