In October 1951, the Guangdong Provincial CPC Committee sent three cadres to lead more than 700 returned Malayan overseas Chinese persecuted by British colonists to settle in Xinglong in three batches, organized the production and self-rescue of difficult overseas Chinese, and established Xinglong overseas Chinese Farm. Since its establishment, Xinglong has successively settled more than 10000 returned overseas Chinese from 21 countries and regions, which was once valued by state leaders. Although the name has been changed several times, it has not deviated from the nature of "state-owned overseas Chinese farm" and become the largest overseas Chinese farm in China.

Perhaps in order to develop tourism, in 2007, Xinglong overseas Chinese Farm was renamed "Hainan Xinglong overseas Chinese Tourism Economic Zone", but retained the sign of "Hainan Xinglong overseas Chinese Farm". Nowadays, overseas Chinese farms actually pay more attention to eco-tourism, including hot spring resorts, golf clubs, tropical botanical gardens, Southeast Asian villages and other leisure and entertainment places. Coffee is probably the second largest drink in the world after tea, and its origins can be traced back to Africa before AD, when an Ethiopian "shepherd boy" discovered that his sheep were "acting funny because they ate a kind of red fruit". Coffee came out immediately. Coffee cultivation later spread to Central and South America, making Brazil once the leading exporter of coffee, only to be overtaken by Vietnam in recent years. I've had Bang Mei Shu coffee from Vietnam, and it tastes good. It is not uncommon for Bangmeishu to set up a factory in Guangzhou. A friend brought me a bag of coffee powder from Kenya. I drank it for two or three months for fear of expiration, and for some time I was even a little afraid of coffee.

Although coffee is mainly produced in Africa, Central and South America and Asia, it is loved by Europeans and Americans. My pursuit of drinks can not be regarded as a taste at all when I quench my thirst and make it taste so "a little" at the same time. For example, I can also "brew" and "brew" coffee, but I still think it can be "instant" and there is no need to bother. As for the aristocratic "Blue Mountain" or "cat shit" in coffee, it can only be tasted occasionally.

The first flowering period of the coffee tree is about three years old, and the fruit ripens six to eight months after flowering. There are two seeds in it, namely "coffee beans". Even the fruit on the same tree will not ripen at the same time, so high-quality coffee needs to be harvested manually in batches, picking one grain after ripening, which is not easy.

From the escape to the establishment of the farm, from the most primitive fried pots and pans to the eliminated machinery, from primitive agriculture to tourism economy, we can also see the course of the economic development of New China.

Xinglong is located in the tropics, and the plant world is amazing and awesome.
